A city with a Legend
Just north of the center beats the green heart of the city. The legend of the origin of Lousberg Hill is quite an entertaining one and locals will be happy to tell you all about it. Perfect for long walks and a favorite jogging route, its high point offers a beautiful view and exquisite fine dining at the MundArt in the Belvedere Tower. Living on the slopes of the hill means enjoying the proximity of nature and at the same time being just a ten minutes’ walk to the city center. The main buildings of the university are nearby, along with the Pontstraße, lined with casual restaurants, bars, and Aachen’s main nightlife venues. In the other direction, the Krefelder Straße allows easy access to the highways to Düsseldorf and Cologne.
